Touch of Love Ministries has been in Toronto and across North America for quite a number of years. They operate out of The Seventh-day Adventist world wide Church. Their mandate is to try as much as possible to meet the needs of the less fortunate in our communities, like Christ requires us to do. They help to meed the needs of many of the less fortunate by proving weekly sit down dinners where members of the local SDA Churches take turns to meet at a church hall where they prepare and serve healthy cooked meals to many in need. They provide bag lunches, councelling, and in some cases, even housing. I went to the church hall where the cooked meals were being served, video taped the event and interviewed some of the individuals who had involvement in the Touch of Love Ministries. Other members of the community that are not members of the SDA church, also volunteer their time to serve meals at the hall each week.
