I want to give you an opportunity to challenge one of the points in the gospel according to Dr. Bart Ehrman. The side Dr. William Lane Craig calls the ‘bad Bart.’ Mind you, Bart’s gospel begins with a Biblical position! Of Jesus, Ehrman states, “One of the most certain facts of history is that Jesus was crucified on orders of the Roman prefect of Judea, Pontius Pilate.” In his book, “Did Jesus Exist,’ Ehrman substantiates with multiple proofs that Jesus of Nazareth, called the Christ, was a real historical figure! He lived and He died! But then, this is how Bart Ehrman concludes one of the most certain facts of history: “Jesus is just another dead religious teacher!” Is such a statement true?
